Bluesky and other open social stuff is interesting.
Early adopters are outsiders/enthusiasts. Fast followers are swayed by moral arguments. Soon you hit the mass that know the argument but can't be bothered to care.
If alternatives are at best imitations of the major players, what's the incentive?
