This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

All in all the PDS is pretty cheap to run. Blob storage ends up being the most pricey part, but you can do S3 stores that makes it a lot cheaper. I also admin selfhosted.social, a community PDS. It cost around $50-ish a month and the hope is that will run 25k+ users if we get there on it
