This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

But there's a problem with that system, which is: how do you know what the people you voted for (out of what you assume are your shared ideals) are going to do in office? How do you know what they want to do?
You don't. All you know is what they're willing to say to get elected.
