142. For USA in 2001 to 2024, the number of births per woman ages 15-49 fell 16%, from 61 to 51 (in ACS the survey). The birth rate increased from 80 to 85 for married women, but fell from 38 to 26 for unmarried women. And the proportion married declined from 54% to 42%. So lower birth rate overall.
