But their quirky misinformation (c.f. MacBeth's witches) pseudo-technical advice (Tarot, Astrology) and assumed omniscience (Eye of Sauron) are in a great tradition. We need to see them more as chat-goblins, search-sprites and hungry ghosts in the machine, not reassuring Alexa or the sat-nav lady.
