She’s adjacent to what we know about meaning. Michael Buckland is great on this. Documents can signify meaning but they are not meaning. Humans are req for meaning. Documents aren’t people. A model trained on documents+ putting out documents is doing lots! But it’s not creating/transmitting meaning
