yeah it's pretty neat! I make a lot of things I wouldn't otherwise (like crackers lmao--who the fuck makes their own crackers) because I end up with too much discard (which can also be used to make a new "real" starter, if you want to join this horrible hobby where you have a weird fridge flour pet)
