Not been to the plot for a couple of days. It’s been a bit wet. But digging down to plant fruit trees revealed that the rain has only penetrated 2”. Its still rock hard dry below that.
Planted the Bramley apple & the conference pear. They are both netted now to deter any deer that may break in.
