The @aclu.org & others have filed a cert petition with SCOTUS seeking review of the 5th Circuit case that upheld Trump's mandatory immigration policy. (I believe it's the 2d petition raising the question. Also raised in 6th Cir case Raycraft v Lopez-Campos.
