last month, 8Bitdo finally offered a replacement button kit ($4 + $8 shipping to US). open your gamepad, pop old buttons out, slide new ones in. cool. but their QC goofed. all 4 yellow buttons have unique interior slots, and 8Bitdo has sent mismatched sets to many customers, as per Reddit:
