This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

That's awesome but the freelance population of the industry works at companies other than Microsoft. I'm all for the long game but freelancers who aren't positioned well for organizing, many of which already resource constrained, need more tangible benefits if they're expected to pay dues.
