This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Not always so though was it? Also, I remain to be convinced that it will ever be... except for the scale of F35 production bringing its cost down. Besides, the UK bought the F35B, which costs more than the A and C versions.
At least, this is my understanding, and may be outdated.
