The worst thing we do with HOF evaluations is using WAR (Wins Above Replacement) instead of positive-WAA (Wins Above Average, but only when above 0)
WAR is useful for player valuation just to see if they should be in MLB at all
WAA sets higher standard for value. And HOF is clearly higher standard
