a bit back i built a proof of concept for a PLC-backwards-compatible fast consortium-consensus DID method (https://codeberg.org/xormetric/didfastpoc). only a poc sure, but gives me reason to believe it'd be within the PBC's means to decentralize PLC while still fulfilling cost/speed/etc goals it does right now.
