First post on my new homelab blog: Why I'm Replacing a Homelab That Still Works.
Two 1U Supermicro servers — 24 cores, 256 GB RAM, all working — and I'm retiring them anyway. Reasons: power, noise, Windows licensing, aging hardware. The replacement is two small Proxmox mini PCs.
