[단독] ‘노무현 조롱’ 혐오인가…방미심위, 논쟁 끝 의결 보류
혐오표현 연구자인 홍성수 숙명여대 교수(법학부)는 “노무현 조롱은 지역 차별이나 자살 폄하 등 한두 주제에 국한되지 않는, 그 자체로 광범위한 혐오 놀이 소재가 된 측면이 있다”며 “혐오나 차별이라고 하기는 어렵지만 조롱 문화가 퍼지는 해악이 크다”고 짚었다. 이어 홍 교수는 “정치적 남용의 가능성을 방지하면서 노무현 혐오의 사회적 해악에 관해 정교하게 심의해볼 필요가 있다”고 했다.
