This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

How about this? Base profiles lead to bad (or weird) UX, but the original use case (allow apps to discover other apps’ profiles) is valid.
So when I publish the Cartridge profile lexicon, I can also publish a sidecar that identifies the NSID as a profile, with field mapping data.
