It’s #WorldElephantDay. This was taken in the Okwangwo division of Nigeria’s Cross River National Park. There are just 300-400 elephants left in the country there. Nigeria’s National Elephant Action Plan 2024-2034 offers a blueprint for their survival. WCS Nigeria is on the ground supporting. 🌍
