@typescriptlang.org creator Anders Hejlsberg just announced "Corsa" - a native port in Go that promises 10x faster compilation! VS Code went from 77.8s to 7.5s, and editor startup times dropped from 9.6s to 1.2s. The JS implementation continues as v6.x while the native port becomes v7.0.
