这次路游的一个节目，是去 Moab 参加福特的越野车训练营活动。我基本是个纯粹的新手，跟着教练跑了一大半天，算是有了一些基本体验。一行福特 Bronco 沿着 UT-128，走过风景奇异的科罗拉多河谷，上到山路上第一个项目就是体验25°侧倾，教练在一旁说，你们别怕，这车侧翻的临界角是38°……Off-roading 的乐趣，在于它给人许多自由，让你可以去许多别人可能去不了的地方。犹他 Moab 小镇周围有无数越野车道，但因太多人不守规矩，联邦国土管理局最近宣布无限期关闭了数百英里山道。这一天不仅学到怎样驾驭四驱、走山道、爬石阶，更学到不少保护环境的知识。
