In Warhammer 40k, a Carnifex, even one used as a distraction, is still really fucking dangerous, and will cause a lot of damage to your enemy if ignored, that's why the 'Distraction Carnifex' tactic works.
You cannot dismiss it as a mere distraction because it's also a fucking Carnifex.
