This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

That’s how it started for me too. I got an entry level edrum kit like 15 years ago to learn in earnest after getting really into rock band and also so I could use it as a controller.
Now that I’m getting more serious and it’s been a while, I figured an upgrade would be nice
